St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School, Khandwa, organised a Press Vigyapti Competition on 22 September 2026 for students of Classes VI to XII, providing them with an opportunity to develop their writing skills, creativity, communication abilities and understanding of formal news reporting.
The competition encouraged students to express information clearly and concisely through the preparation of a press release. Participants explored the essential elements of a press vigyapti, including an appropriate headline, a clear introduction, factual presentation of information and a well-structured conclusion.
Through this activity, students were encouraged to develop their language proficiency, organise their thoughts logically and understand the importance of accuracy, clarity and objectivity in written communication.

The initiative reflected the school's commitment to providing meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom, nurturing students' confidence, writing abilities and awareness of media and communication.
