METHODOLOGY

SJC vision focuses towards the Spirituality of Communion for Human Excellence. It strives to reach this vision by setting goal of Holistic Education for Human Excellence through its mission of making every child a gift of God to humankind and a pride of human race. Thus St. Joseph’s provide education with an objective to empower students to make decision, to find creative solutions and plan effective action strategies.
PRIMARY LEVEL (Classes I – V)

A thematic approach is designed to stimulate the children through various inter-active sessions and activities. The subjects covered in the Primary level are – English, Hindi, EVS, Mathematics, Computer, General Knowledge, Value Education, Art Education, Drawing Craft, and Physical Education.
MIDDLE SCHOOL (Classes VI-VIII)

Here the emphasis is on acquiring in-depth conceptual knowledge. Personality development, value education and coping with peer pressure are stressed upon at this stage. The subjects covered in the middle school are – English, Hindi, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Sanskrit, Computer, Art Education, Value Education and Health Education.
SECONDARY SCHOOL (Classes IX – X)

The Secondary School Programme covers classes IX and X. At this stage stress is laid on preparing students for the prescribed CBSE syllabus as per the CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) pattern. The subjects covered in the secondary school are – English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Civics, Geography, Economics, Computer, Value Education, Health Education, Art Education, Physical Education and Sanskrit.
SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL (Classes XI-XII)

Science and Commerce are among the main academic streams offered at SJC. Various combinations of subjects are offered so that students can pursue their desired courses of study later in life. An equal stress is laid on preparing students for the prescribed CBSE syllabus and on preparing the students for the various competitive entrance examinations.

The subjects covered in the senior secondary school are – English, Hindi/Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, Economics, Business studies, Accountancy, Value Education, General Studies, Physical Education.
