My dear Josephite Families,

Great personalities are shaped with great experiences.

“Recover and Revitalize Education for the COVID-19 Generation” is the Theme of International Education Day 2021 proclaimed by UNESCO (United Nations) for the current year 2021.

The purpose of the 2021 theme is to strengthen and welcome the revival of education. Education in its usual and formal way has observed a huge gap in the year 2020. All activities especially educational activities remained under-cover and were frozen with the wave of Corona Virus.

I know the previous academic year has been full of challenges, full of learning & full of aspiration. All of us including parents, teachers and students, we learned, we progressed That was a new platform, new design and new venture that we could successfully sail through with the cooperation of everyone. I congratulate everyone for the successful academic year. It’s been wonderful to explore and intergrade technologies in the classroom. This is going to be the new normal for every child.

The School may look different this year with online learning and, hopefully, at some point returning to an in-building hybrid model. Yet what will never change is our commitment to serving our students, families, and community with care, compassion, and dedication. Believe that having quality, inspirational and passionate teachers are essential to a school's success. To borrow John Hattie's words; "Teachers should build classroom climates where errors are welcome, students engagement is the norm, questioning is high and students gain reputations as effective learners.”

I enjoy celebrating successes and acknowledge hard work of staff, students and community and believe this is one of the contributors fundamental to a happy school environment. All staff, students and community should feel valued and appreciated at school.

“The tradition of excellence is ours, the choice is yours!”

Stay safe, stay healthy
Yours in Education
