Bhashan Pratiyogita 2026: Nurturing Young Orators at SJC Khandwa

St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School, Khandwa, organised a Bhashan Pratiyogita (Speech Competition) on 19 September 2026 for students of Classes VI to XII, providing a platform for young speakers to express their ideas, share their perspectives and develop confidence in public speaking.

The competition aimed to enhance students’ communication skills, improve their command of language and encourage them to present their thoughts with clarity, confidence and conviction.

Giving Voice to Ideas

The participating students showcased their oratory skills through thoughtfully prepared speeches, demonstrating their ability to organise ideas and communicate effectively. The competition encouraged them to express their viewpoints, use appropriate language and develop a confident stage presence.

Public speaking is an essential life skill that helps students overcome stage fright, strengthen critical thinking and learn to articulate their ideas effectively. Such opportunities also encourage students to listen to different perspectives and express themselves with responsibility and respect.

Building Confidence Beyond the Classroom

The Bhashan Pratiyogita reflected the school's commitment to nurturing confident, articulate and independent thinkers. By participating in the competition, students gained valuable experience in presenting their ideas before an audience and exploring the power of effective communication.

The event encouraged young speakers to continue refining their speaking abilities and participate enthusiastically in future academic and co-curricular activities.

At St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School, Khandwa, every voice matters, every idea has value, and every speech is an opportunity to inspire!
