Nursery Parents’ Orientation Programme (Academic Year 2026–27)

St. Joseph’s Convent Hr. Sec. School, Khandwa conducted a two-day Nursery Parents’ Orientation Programme on 13th and 14th March 2026 for the parents of children newly admitted for the academic session 2026–27. The initiative was thoughtfully planned to help parents understand the school routine and prepare their little ones for a smooth, happy, and confident start to school life.

The programme began with a warm welcome from the school administration and teachers, who introduced parents to the ethos of the institution and the daily rhythm of the Nursery section. Parents were guided on essential aspects such as the proper school uniform, the importance of personal hygiene, and the need to send a backup set of clothes for emergencies. Clear instructions were shared about the items children should carry in their school bags each day, including a tiffin box, water bottle, handkerchief, and other materials required for classroom activities.

Teachers shared practical and reassuring tips to help children gradually adjust to the new environment, develop independence, and build positive habits from an early age. Special emphasis was placed on sending a healthy and nutritious tiffin, labeling all belongings, and maintaining punctuality during dropoff and pick-up. These small but meaningful practices, parents were told, make a big difference in a child’s comfort and confidence at school.

The orientation also created a friendly platform for interaction, where parents could freely ask questions, clarify doubts, and understand the school’s expectations. The open dialogue helped build a sense of trust and partnership between the school and families—an essential foundation for the child’s educational journey.

The programme concluded on a positive note, with parents expressing appreciation for the detailed guidance and the caring approach of the school. With shared understanding and cooperation, the school looks forward to welcoming the young learners of Nursery into a joyful, nurturing, and enriching academic year ahead.
